First off, this place is hidden. From Yonsei’s main gate, walk across the street into Sinchon. Cross the street to get to Beans & Berries. Walk into the alley in front of Beans & Berries & keep to your right. If you look up after about 20 steps, you should see a sushi restaurant at the 4th floor or so. Like the name suggests, all sushi plates are 1,000 원 here. You usually get 2 pieces per plate. If you’re not into the raw stuff, they also have cooked sushi dishes such as baked mussels with cheese, filled crab shells, tempura, & egg rolls. You can also buy a bowl of udon for 3,000 원. After you finish eating, they count the dishes in your pile & charge you accordingly.
The restaurant itself is pretty small. The sushi rolls around on this conveyor belt & there are chairs around it. I see individual tables as well. I wonder how the sushi gets to them haha. If you order a baked/cooked dish, they warm it up for you before serving it to you. The sushi was pretty good – not sketchy at all. The baked mussels were my favorite & I would come back just to eat those because I’m not much of a raw sushi person.
