I remember back in early July while hanging out with my friend Jeong, we had this random idea/goal to go find cute little cafes up the hill in Jong-no. Well after hiking up the left side hill of Chong-won-dae, we didn’t find crap haha. But this time around, while walking down the hill from the Vietnam Embassy, I found a street full of cute little cafes & art galleries! Turns out last time, Jeong & I were on the wrong side hahaha. Rachele & I stopped by this little cafe for dessert… even though we didn’t have dinner yet 😀 Rachele ordered a chocolate waffle with ice cream dessert. I got a raspberry iced tea.
MMMM I’m drooling from looking at the pictures. So it was a giant chocolate chip chocolate waffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a scoop of chocolate ice cream, banana slices, whipped cream, almonds, & powdered sugar. Oh & drizzled with more chocolate sauce. Man, Koreans really know how to party with their dessert. After having a photoshoot with the waffle, we started devouring it. The waffle was moist, yet still crunchy on the edges (my favorite part of any pastry). While many might think that it is too much chocolate intake at once, I personally loved eating the waffle with chocolate ice cream. A perfect complement to my raspberry iced tea. I believe the waffle dessert was 10,000 won. It started sprinkling outside so it was nice to sit back, eat, & watch the rain. The end result?
