(chilli cheese fries @ Kraze Burger)
(onion ring burger @ Kraze Burger)
I saw Kraze Burger at Myeongdong before but never went in because it was too crowded. Well while at the Vietnam Embassy in Jong-no today (long story), Rachele & I ventured ventured down the hill to find lunch. To our suprise, Kraze Burger was right among the tiny shops & independent eateries. Even though it was lunch time, the place was pretty empty due to the seclusiveness of the area. I ordered a plate of chilli fries & Rachele ordered an onion ring burger. We sat on the 2nd floor near the window to get a view of the area. Our order came quick because there were only like 6 people in the shop at the time.
The chilli fries were god-like. I’m pretty sure this is because I have been deprived from Mexican food for weeks now. It’s your basic straight-from-the-can Costco chilli but it was soooooooo good. Especially the melted cheese on top. MMMMM. And of course, because Korean people like to balance things out, my chilli fries came with a side of pickles & pickled garlic. Rachele’s burger was awesome too. Basically a juicy burger with a giant onion ring in the middle. I couldn’t even bite on it. My chilli fries were about 6,000 won & Rachele’s burger was 8,000 won or so. Because it was lunch time, we got a free soda each! High five to Kraze Burger for making such great food!
