I’ve been seeing so many facebook status updates about 2010. It seems like everyone is ready to move on, grab the new year by the balls, & forget about 2009. I wish I could join in on the merriment but I’m still in denial that 2009 is actually over. While it seems like 2009 sucked for most people, my 2009 was absolutely fabulous. From the day I moved out into my own apartment in Irvine, right down to the day I left Korea. 2009 was FUCKING FABULOUS.
I am sad that 2009 is over, but still quite excited that 2010 is here:
- I’m supposedly graduating… most likely by summer. Which means I can walk in June, but I don’t want to walk but we’ll see… depending on what I can get out of it.
- I plan on studying abroad again this summer. I say plan because I’m not sure I can finish my language requirements by spring quarter… which means I will need to take summer classes. They don’t offer Korean during the summer at UCI sooooooooooo… hello 연세!
- I’m moving! It’s either going to be to Vietnam or Korea. Of course, I’m leaning towards Korea heavily right now but Vietnam is still an option.
There’s a lot to look forward to, isn’t there? I suppose the three points listed above count as my resolutions. Well it’s more like “I’m gonna do whatever the hell I want…” So cheers to 2009 for being as awesome as 순대 drenched in 떢볶이 sauce & a tequila shot to 2010 in hopes of it being just as awesome.
