Despite my love for Korea (which is pretty apparent), I’ve always wanted to see Europe. Purely for vacation purposes though, no study abroad or anything fancy. So here I am, about 6 weeks away from my last spring break ever as a college student. My usual spring break involves me hibernating at home & not showering for a week… but I don’t know, something about only have one spring break left is encouraging me to make some real plans. So this is where Europe comes in… *insert Mr. Burns laugh here*
OBSESSION A: Netherlands – I put Netherlands on my list because of the things I’ve heard from my uncle during his business trips & more recently, from Laurent. The closest I’ve ever been to Netherlands is like Epcott at Disneyworld. It seems like a relaxing & quaint little place filled with cute cottages & magic cakes (LOL, i’d be so down for some magic cakes).
OBSESSION B: Germany – also known as Maryon-land! I don’t know much about Germany but I think it’d be a neat place to visit. Especially the countryside… I want some meat & potatoes. & strudels! I think I’d only for sure ever go to Germany only if Maryon was back in town to show me around.
OBSESSION C: Paris – Not even France, just Paris. The land of baguettes, pretty landmarks, & the best fashion in the world. I’m sort of an art history buff so I always paid more attention to France when I studied the Renaissance. I feel like I can wander in a place like Paris for a week… Also, I’ve always wanted to go to Disneyland in France!
So there, my three current obsessions. I’m supposed to be saving money for study abroad this summer but you know what? Maybe I’ll just do summer school here (only 2-3 classes left anyways) & play this spring break. Maybe. Will meet with counselors soon to see how my summer load is looking. Spring break in Europe is definitely a possibility though.
