Apparently it’s Key Club convention this past weekend somewhere in Norcal… another year, another thrill, another board, the same old drill. I’m starting to accept the fact that it was indeed a part of my past & I am ready to make a scrapbook about it HAHA. Of course, you can expect this to be a sarcastic one. In 2009, I had some pretty hilarious run-ins regarding Key Club. One being the EAP banquet during summer 2009 when someone randomly recognized me while I was eating. Which then caused everyone else at my table to stop & stare at me. The other time (my personal favorite):
(in Korean class during break)
Doris: What club?
Hannah: You know Key Club?
Doris: Oh my fucking god. Are you serious?
Hannah: Yea, why? You guys had Key Club in Cali?
Doris: AHAHAHA. Yea man I know what Key Club is.
Hannah: Yup, haha I can’t believe I was in Key Club.
Doris: 나도! Seriously haha.
Oh wait, I think there was another worthy moment worth mentioning:
(at some random bar next to my hasook jip @ 3am)
Steven: Yea I knew her in high school. I was in Key Club with her.
Doris: Seriously? That’s how I knew her.
Steven: Oh shit I forgot, I can’t make eye contact with you.
Minho: *doesn’t get it* I CAN! *stares at me creepily*
(at Red Mango in 신촌):
*while discussing famous people aka KPOP celebrities*
Esther: Oh yea Doris, I heard you were famous!
Doris: OH MY GOD *puts head down*
Casey: WAIT WHAT? What is going on?
You can probably guess where the rest of that conversation went. I think it’s cool in a way that one of my best friends whom I met in Korea was also in Key Club. Crazy that we were both in Key Club back in high school across the country. And yet we met like 2 years later in Korea… & got pissed drunk every week after that but that’s besides the point 😉
Also, I think I hung out with a shitload of people from Key Club while I was in Korea HAHAHA. Angela (it would happen…), Young (Vegas!), Victoria, Cindy (who lives down the street from me…), Anna, Jeong, Steven, Loan, & other random people… Damn, it never stopped did it?
Anyways, in honor of the oh so wonderful memories, I decided to make some pages:
