I don’t know what it is (well, I have a feeling about what it is) but Week 7 was just as rough as Week 6. Maybe it’s just spring? Winter was the bomb. I’m hoping summer will be awesome too. But I still have hope for spring. We’re doing this intense one-month long thinking project with all of the classes. It’s cute at the Seed 2 level (a musical!) but also very tiring. Try teaching a group of 11 7-year olds to sing “One Way or Another”… Sapling 2 has potential and I want them to go far. Competition is great, right?
I’ve been relaxing this weekend. I went out to nohraebang last night with Grace, Richard, & his friend. We butchered a decent amount of songs including but not limited to: Hey Ya, We Will Rock You, Teenage Dream, Sometimes, Never Gonna Give You Up, & of course, Justin Bieber’s Baby. I went to Eunhaengdong this morning to pick up some Etude House stuff for Angela as well as buy useless shit at Daiso. I have to finish my Sprout 3 crafting later.
BOOOOOOO for work tomorrow. BOOOOOO Mondays.
I recently found out I had a balcony attached to my classroom… So I spent a sunny Thursday afternoon yelling obscene messages at Heather downstairs with one of my students.
I seem to have used “busy” a lot during the month of March.
Other than that, I’ve been busy since it’s acting week. I decided to step up my game & edit some of the videos that were uploaded onto Creative Cafe this week. Creative Cafe is like the Youtube channel of Chungdahm April. Teachers film their students every other week & upload for kids all over Korea to rate/comment on. So far, Daejeon Dunsan has been DOMINATING. And we plan on conquering Creative Cafe this week too. I worked really hard on editing the videos but my students worked so much harder on the acting. I mean, they had to work with a pretty over-ambitious wannabe drama teacher so props to them hahaha. Here are some of my recent pictures & videos:
