Intensives are finally OVER! It’s been an excruciating one month so thank JEEBUS it is over. It was an interesting experience and overall, I feel like it was a success. It was our first time having an “immersion school” program and we did the best we could. It wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t horrible either. I taught a Sapling-level speech class, a Sprout-level science class, & a Junior Master writing class. I had fun getting to know my writing class since it was so relaxed and I dreaded writing more than they did. They bought me coffee, juice, and bread today… made me tear up a little.
Anyways, I feel like I can breathe now. The science fair was Monday night and it was kick ass if I say so myself. Of course, working with dead weight isn’t easy but we pulled through. The parents were impressed. The kids had fun. Rachel came to visit. It was all good. I was exhausted and I am still exhausted. However, I am glad that this is over. It’s kind of like graduating from Key Club ahahahaha.
