Junior Master is a whole new world, a dazzling place I never knew. Well actually, it’s just a level within the Chungdahm April learning system. This is my first time teaching the level and so far, not bad. The weird thing is, even though there is a structure for Junior Master, it doesn’t feel like a “Chungdahm” class at all. It almost feels like a lecture at times. I somehow was given two Junior Master 1 classes… Most people start out with one, but they probably thought, hey, why not give her two?!?? So my Tuesday-Thursday schedule is basically Junior Master 1 from 3pm-8:10pm.
I was extremely nervous for my first class last Tuesday. But that was mainly because I was still sick. I did have a mini coughing fit but other than that (& the excessive sweating), the class went pretty well. I did everything I was supposed to. The kids are younger and more eager so they were nervous. Profusely sweating children make life a little easier.
Here’s a video from one of the JM presentations. Signs you’ve been in Doris’s class for too long:
[SIDENOTE TO SELF FOR FUTURE REFRENCE]:
– In case, I ever ask myself “Why the fuck am I teaching this class?” I wanted to try Junior Master for the Fall2011. However, I never want to teach Science Project for intensives again. Especially not with dead weight on my shoulders.
