My recent lack of posts are probably due to: 1) my laziness 2) intensives kicking me in the face. Anyways, with just 6 days of intensives left, I have to say, I’m getting anxious. Winter intensives are much more intense because of the weather. I don’t function well in cold weather and Chungdahm isn’t exactly helping. Nonetheless, I plan on getting through the next week.
My (worst) most-challenging class this intensives has to be Sprout 5-6 E-Speaking. It’s filled with 6th graders ranging from the Seed to low Sapling level. Half of the time, they really don’t want to be there, but they’ve really turned around since the first week. Even though they’re pretty low-level, they all follow directions and attempt a speech presentation every single class. My favorite kid (even though I pretend to hate him jokingly) is John. He’s just rambunctious and over the top. I knew I couldn’t hate him when I saw him care about his younger sister — who has cancer & is in my pre-school class. Anyways, his speeches are just plain ridiculous. And I love it! He’s such a character.
