Today was the perfect follow-up to yesterday. First of all, Jess decided to stay until the end of the term (end of August!). Which also meant that she took over my T-TH Junior Master 1 class! WHICH ALSO MEANT that I took over her 5 o’clock Sapling 1 & 2 classes. And one of the students in Sapling 1 5 o’clock is… CHARLIE <33333333 It all worked out in the end. Jessica gets to fulfill her dream of teaching Sungmin & Hugh. And I get to fulfill my dream of teaching CHARLIE<3333. So this brings my Sapling 2 tally to a total of 4. I teach the same thing 4 times… fine with me, less prep! ^_^ My 3 o’clock Sapling 2 class is an absolute joy. There’s only 6 kids… Jane, Jamie, Angela, Minji, Kevin, & Peter. They’re all precious hardworking babies and all they do is giggle and participate in everything. They even stood up in front of the class to present their Part 1 CTP answers. PART ONE. I’m lucky if my other classes even read their Part 1’s. My other 3 o’clock class is my Seed 1 that I had last time. For some reason, they were extra obnoxious and rude today so I chewed the living shit out of them. I basically made 2 kids cry and made them march to their next classes in a single file line. How dare they fuck with me when I’ve been so kind to them. HMPPPPPH.
I was slightly worried when I saw Charlie roaming around April during the 3시 time slot… I nervously asked him if he switched times but he motioned (in what little English he knew) that he was only in supplementary for today. Whewwww. My late Sapling 2 class consisted of 4 older kids who go by the name of Chuck, Eric, Tony, & Julia. They have a hilarious boys vs. girl rivalry going on and I let it continue since there needs to be some life in that class. My Sapling 1 class consists of 7 awkward kids who are really smart yet shy. Except 3 of them were absent so we had only 4 today.
Overall, this was a wonderful day. Minus those 10 minutes when I screamed at Seed 1…. but there always needs to be a class for me to yell at. Or else I wouldn’t be Doris Teacher. Summer term is going to be wonderful. I can finally go back to doing what I do best. Spending time with awkward children!
