The first two days of April Immersion School have been very exhausting. I am “lucky” enough to be at work by 9 fucking am every morning so that means stumbling into the building half awake, not sure if my teeth are brushed or not and growling at unsuspecting children. For the most part, things have been calm. They were smart enough to make all copies Friday night because they knew they wouldn’t have the books on time. Also, the kids seem more calm this term… I hope it stays that way. I teach English Drama for Sprout – Ali Baba, Extensive Reading for Seed, and Speech for 5-6 grade. The speech class is freakin hard. I seriously feel bad for the Sapling kids stuck in the class… the material just goes over their head.
I was falling asleep around 2pm today in my 1-person Sapling2 class. Thank god the girl (Minji) was also sleepy as well. We rewarded ourselves with 2-minute naps every time she answered a comprehension question correctly. On the bright side, only 3 more work days until the 2NE1 concert & Taiwan!!
