The picture above describes exactly how I feel about winter. As soon as December 1st came around, the cold hit Seoul like a mother. Even though I am inside for most of the day, I am required to commute twice a day (3 minute per way). Then at lunch, I usually venture a few steps outside to get my daily bottle of Cola. Those moments are enough to make me never want to go outside again. I’ve been dungeoning it up with my kids doing things such as the Pajama Party (above).
Seongbuk Poly has turned into a month-long episode of Toddlers and Tiara due to the upcoming Christmas concert. My wild children… as “cool” and “mature” as they are, someone magically turn into dancing machines for this event. As mentioned before, my class is performing “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and “Holly Jolly Christmas.” It’s a rustic dance haha. I’m glad my co-teacher is cool about everything. I choreographed both dances and she’s just keeping them in line with a few words of Korean here and there.
I’ll going back to California for a week at the end of December. It will be a glorious week filled with eating, eating, and shopping. I can already see Walmart shining in the distance. I plan to gain at least 15 lbs. while at home. I’ll be meeting up with Casey so we can gallop around Disneyland for a few hours. I’m most excited about spending quality time with my Breakfast baby boo. He’s friggin’ fat but he’s my fat puppy and I love him.
Other than that, I’m just sitting amongst all my crap in my pod-like apartment. I’ve been meaning to clean… since I moved in. Oh well, that time will come. I need to finish making the photo calendars for my kindy kids as well as get started on baking cookies for the holidays. This year, I’ll be giving out cookie boxes and home-made puppy chow. So excited for the holidays!
